Our work is nowhere near done and we have big plans for the coming months and years. We are committed to assisting with the recovery and rebuild effort, as well as assisting the Virgin Islands’ most vulnerable residents – the children. To do that, we need donations, but we also need advocates like you. You have seen the smiles on the faces of the recipients of our charity, as well as the sweat of our volunteers unloading and distributing goods. You’ve read the stories about the people who have reached out to help and who we were able to connect with those in need on island. You have watched the videos, seen the photos – and some of you have even been there and witnessed it firsthand. Many of you are actually directly responsible for that work, as you have donated your money and your time to the effort. In fact, this effort isn’t just the people working directly with Cane Bay Cares – it’s a movement of everyone reading this, caring right along with us and keeping the charity machine running. So it’s you who is our best advocate – the best voice for representing who we are, what we’re about and what we still need to do.
